Female reality show star faces string of child abuse charges including ‘rape and torture’ while another male TV contestant faces grievous assault charges

A female contestant on a reality TV show has been accused of a string of child sexual abuses, including rape and torture.

The 50-something Queensland woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faced Richlands Magistrates Court in Brisbane on Wednesday, charged with 36 offenses between 2005 and 2023, 7News reported.

The charges include indecent treatment of a child, indecent filming, rape, assault, assault, rape and torture.

A male reality TV star also faces seven assault charges between 2006 and 2011 and he too cannot be named for legal reasons.

He must appear in court in mid-September.

The woman has been granted bail and her case will appear in court in October.
