Mother ‘searched how to dismember a body BEFORE she got drunk, murdered nine-year-old daughter and stuffed child’s remains in refrigerator’

A Brazilian mother is said to have surfed the internet to learn how to dismember a body before murdering her nine-year-old daughter. She kept the hacked remains in the refrigerator for nearly three weeks.

Ruth Floriano, 30, was arrested Saturday in the southeastern city of São Paulo after her boyfriend’s mother made the gruesome discovery at the house she had moved into.

A judge ordered the mother of three children to be remanded in custody as part of the investigation. Her two other children were placed with a city agency.

Floriano scoured the internet looking for the “easier way” to dismember her daughter Alany Silva, according to the Civil Police.

She revealed that she killed her daughter because she refused to accept the end of a relationship with her ex-boyfriend, who loved Silva as if she were his own child.

Floriano was questioned at the scene by military police officers and told them that “about a month ago” she met a man through a dating app and invited him to her home on the east side of São Paulo. She said they used drugs and slept together. She claimed Silva was already dead when she woke up and denied killing her.

While she did not say who killed Silva, she did admit that she put the body parts in the refrigerator.

Once at the police station, Floriano said she had taken drugs and made the decision to kill her daughter between August 8 and 9. She said she stabbed Silva while she was brushing her teeth and put the remains in the fridge and then threw them away. in a nearby sewer.

Police said Floriano stabbed Silva in the chest and admitted to cooking part of it.

Authorities are investigating whether de Silva was killed before August 6, her date of birth.

Floriano and her children moved into a new house on the west side of São Paulo on Aug. 15 and had the refrigerator wrapped with a sheet and ribbons, according to a mover who spoke to police.

She left the house between last Friday and Saturday morning when her friend’s mother visited the house and said she was going to look for her former husband, with whom Silva was staying.

For reasons unknown, the woman believed that Floriano had kept drugs or a weapon in the refrigerator and dug up Silva’s dismembered body.

Silva was Floriano’s daughter from a previous relationship with a man who lives in the interior of São Paulo. She lived with her father and his family for an unknown period of time before rejoining her mother.

Floriano’s ex-boyfriend, whom she stabbed about three months ago, also took care of Alany, according to her sister, Aline Floriano.

‘He had a love for Alany, it was something inexplicable. You saw pictures of them together and thought they were father and daughter, you can’t,” Aline Floriano told Brazilian newspaper Band. “She said, from what I heard, it was a blow, and she did.”

She said that Silva often stayed at her house and always said that she would rather live with her and her children because her mother would beat her. On one occasion, Ruth Floriano slammed her daughter’s head against a wall.

“She spoke directly at the police station and the whole family heard that she wanted to kill him and the other children, finish the job and commit suicide,” said Aline Floriano.
