The post comes after Cattrall shocked fans of Sex and the City and And Just Like That… in late May when it was reported that she filmed a secret cameo in mid-March, which she did without interacting with any cast member.
And Just Like That… was first announced in January 2021, with Cattrall’s absence immediately raising eyebrows among fans, with Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Kristin Davis (Charlotte York) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) Hobbes) reprise their iconic roles.
In the series premiere, it was explained that Samantha had moved to London, while during the season 1 premiere, Carrie contacted Samantha via text and made plans to meet in person and reconcile.
Samantha’s return came in the form of a phone call to Carrie, which took place very early in the season finale.
Carrie comes home on the phone to Aiden (John Corbett) and contacts him after rushing back to Virginia after hearing that his son Wyatt (Logan Souza) was injured.
