Richard Madeley had to apologize on Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Britain after he swore live on air.
The 67-year-old broadcaster suffered a mistake during an interview about Britain’s air traffic control chaos, which has led to thousands of flights being cancelled.
Speaking to Olympian Iwan Thomas, who stranded like many other stars, Richard said, “It’s a good thing you kept your passport with you. And it’s a good thing you have a few credit cards with you.’
Then he added: “Otherwise you were really stuck, you were really just on your a**e.”
A puzzled Kate Garraway turned to Richard, and he quickly corrected himself before adding, “Excuse me. Sit on your bottom, on the floor at the airport, like so many people do.’

Nearly 1,000 flights were grounded and cancelled, while thousands more were delayed after Britain’s National Air Traffic Services (NATS) experienced “technical difficulties” on Monday.
Today, around 200,000 passengers are still stranded in a location they don’t want to be, while 200 flights from the UK have been canceled because the crew and aircraft were out of place. This includes 80 easyJet and 60 British Airways aircraft.

On Monday’s GMB, it was Richard’s co-host Kate Garraway who was left red-faced after discovering her missing phone had caused quite a stir at the ITV studios.
Kate had co-presented Good Morning Britain with Richard when she discovered the crew running around behind the scenes looking for it.
Lorraine guest presenter Ranvir Singh covered the topic live on air and appeared to be discussing what was going on in the ITV show.
But perplexed at what was going on, Kate admitted, “Now I got a missed call from you about twenty minutes ago, which kind of freaked me out.
“I thought, ‘Is she calling me to say I’m not coming?’ But you’re here, and that’s good!’

Ranvir, 46, was quick to clarify: ‘No, I’ll tell you what happened, Kate. I walked into the building and everyone is freaking out because they couldn’t find your phone. Apparently you lost it!’
Kate finally understood the confusion and her face turned red as she burst out laughing and said, “So you were one of the people who tried to shout it!”
Ranvir added, “Yes! Helen in the dressing room she said, “Ranvir, you have Kate’s number, call me?” so I thought, okay, I have nothing else to do!’
Kate then joked about “high maintenance,” to which Ranvir joked, “Listen, we’re all here in your service and we love it.”
