The child actress who played the titular toddler on the Disney Channel sitcom Good Luck Charlie — and whose comedic, bewildered expression became the basis of a viral meme — has now started high school.

Mia Talerico, 14, shared on Instagram an adorable photo of her holding a chalkboard sign that says “First Day 9th Grade,” followed by the date “8 – 21 – 23.”

“Your annual reminder of (you) getting old, first day of high school!!!” joked the teen in the caption — clearly familiar with her fans’ tendency to react in amazement at how quickly time has flown since her toddler days on TV.

And hundreds of Mia’s 1.2 million Instagram followers who flocked to the comments did just that.

“Damn, we’re getting old… I remember seeing you on TV when you were a toddler,” someone recalled.

“Wait, she’s already in high school now, I feel so old now and I’m only 19,” echoed another.

‘Secondary school? Where in the world has all the time gone?’ a third agreed.

“No STOP, you didn’t just call me that old… I remember watching the final of happiness Charlie,” another agreed.

And someone else also agreed: “Girl … no way … I forget that other people grow up too.”

A fellow Good Luck Charlie alum was also spotted in the comments.

Leigh-Allyn Baker, 51, the actress who played Charlie’s mother, wrote: ‘She’s so big! Mia, you are beautiful!’. She added several emojis with crying faces.

Others couldn’t resist cheekily dropping the title of the Disney Channel show while congratulating Mia on the start of her new chapter.

One fan wrote, “Omg… you are turning into a beautiful young lady!! I wish you a good school year and above all good luck, Charlie.’

‘Good luck, Charlie! I mean Mia,” a second quipped, while a third echoed crazily, “MUCH LUCK CHA – MUCH LUCK MIA.”

The meme of a confused-looking Mia as a two-year-old in character as Charlie comes from a season two episode titled Meet The Parents.

The scene opens with Charlie quietly drawing with her mother in the living room.

When her father screams for help from the backyard, her mother frantically rushes over, yelling for her son Gabe to watch Charlie.

But Gabe doesn’t appear and Charlie stays alone.

A close-up of Mia’s Charlie shows the child bewildered by the startling change of pace – and perhaps by the sudden absence of adults.
