Scantily clad revelers twerk the streets filming each other grinding against each other during raunchy celebrations at Notting Hill Carnival.

Videos posted to social media showed festival-goers provocatively dancing in pairs or groups, with some bending over while others dance behind them.

The evocative videos have received mixed reactions online, with some describing the dancing as inappropriate, especially as the event attracts families and people of all ages.

But others defended the partygoers for hanging their heads and “having fun.”

One comment on one of the videos said, “This should not be allowed in front of families with children!”

Another wrote sarcastically, “Looks like a lovely place to go with the family.”

What a lovely family friendly Notting Hill Carnival huh?! Sorry, I’m disgusted. Call me a stuffy person,” one wrote.

But others were quick to defend revelers for having fun.

“There’s nothing wrong with this…the people are celebrating and dancing Carnival,” someone said.

The videos emerged as the Metropolitan Police said the final day of the Notting Hill Carnival was “marred by serious violence” after eight people were stabbed in one night.

Detectives had praised the “positive” and “good-natured” atmosphere all weekend, but officers were forced into action after the Bank Holiday Monday carnival spiraled into violence.

Police said a 29-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed shortly after 9pm in Warfield Road, just off Harrow Road. However, several other stabbings took place in the run-up to that incident, in which one officer was bitten.

A 19-year-old man was stabbed shortly before 8pm in Ladbroke Grove and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. Meanwhile, six other men aged 18, 19, 20, 25, 28 and 40 were stabbed in separate incidents. They suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Met said they made a total of 275 arrests over the two days. On Sunday, there were 110 arrests for crimes, including possession of assault weapons, attacks on police officers, possession of drugs and sex offences, among others.

One man suffered a non-life-altering cut, but refused help from emergency services.

Agents also quickly intervened to intercept a group in possession of a firearm. They seized the weapon and arrested a man.

On Monday, there were another 165 arrests for a similar series of crimes. The police also revealed that further attacks on the police, including sexual assault, took place while the bitten officer had to be treated in hospital.

It comes after two days of steel drums, barbecues and flamboyant headdresses that came to an end last night.

Council teams are now swarming west London to clear and clear mountains of rubbish after two million revelers flocked for this year’s carnival, which sadly turned ugly on its second day.

Hundreds of thousands of revelers gathered in Kensington yesterday for a sunny ‘carnival climax’, with the adult parade kicking off in the morning before a music festival took over the streets.
