Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoel has bizarrely crashed into a spectator after riding to victory in the 158.5km third stage of the Veuelta a Espana on Sunday afternoon.
The Soudal-Quickstep rider outsprinted Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard to claim an early victory in the tour, dominating the first summit finish and climbing the Arinsal climb in Andorra to become the race’s new overall leader .
