Manchester United ‘offer Real Madrid the chance to sign Anthony Martial on loan with an option to buy for £12.8m’

Manchester United have reportedly offered Real Madrid the chance to hire Anthony Martial.

According to Fichajesthe deal would include an option for Real to sign Martial on a permanent basis for £12.8m (€15m).

Following the departure of Karim Benzema to Al-Ittihad, Real don’t have many natural attackers other than Joselu, with Vinicius Junior often partnered with Rodrygo up front.

Martial would be a more natural option up front, but it remains to be seen if a deal will materialize.

The 27-year-old already has experience playing in LaLiga, having joined Sevilla on loan in 2022.

Martial made his first start of the season in United’s 3–2 win at home against Nottingham Forest.

He was previously an unused substitute against Wolves before being used against Tottenham in the dying minutes.

Martial signed for United from Monaco in 2015 and made 300 appearances for the club, while scoring 88 goals.

If Martial stays at United, it is likely that he will drop further down the pecking order when Rasmus Hojlund returns to full fitness in the summer.
