Shannon Sharpe has confirmed his move to ESPN’s “First Take” by posting a mock-up of himself performing a slam dunk alongside Stephen A. Smith in ESPN basketball uniform.

“Get your POPCORN READY,” wrote the Denver Broncos legend who will appear twice a week during the football season along with “First Take” Smith.

Smith revealed Thursday morning that Sharpe will be on the show every Monday and Tuesday — starting September 4, just three days before opening day of the NFL season.

After Sharpe’s split from Skip Bayless on FS1’s “Undisputed,” Smith confirmed that he wanted Sharpe on “First Take.”

Smith is Bayless and he former debate partner wrote on social media: “The guy @Shannon Sharpe can drop by with a bottle of Hennessy as far as I’m concerned. I want him on First Take.”

Now, according to the New York PostSharpe will join the cast twice a week during the NFL season, which begins next month.

Meanwhile, Bayless has announced that Sherman, Michael Irvin and Keyshawn Johnson will be joining him on ‘Undisputed’ following Sharpe’s departure.

In addition to his move to ESPN, Sharpe and Colin Cowherd confirmed that the NFL Hall of Famer would bring his “Club Shay Shay” podcast to The Volume, a sports podcasting company owned by Cowherd.

The podcast was previously hosted on Fox Sports before Sharpe left the network in June.

“I’ve decided to bring ‘Club Shay Shay’ and work with you. When we first started, you said, “Hey, give me a chance. Listen to what everyone else has to say.” I listened to everyone, but I felt The Volume was the best place for me.’

Sharpe played 14 seasons in the NFL and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. The 54-year-old joined Undisputed in 2016 following Bayless’ departure from ESPN – where he co-hosted First Take with Smith.
