Lionel Messi hopes to lead Inter Miami to the US Open Cup final on Wednesday night, and fans following the match can focus specifically on the No. 10 with a special feature from Paramount+.

And while the game is free to watch on the CBS Sports app, Pandora+ and Pluto TV, Paramount+ subscribers have access to a “Star Cam” that tracks Messi’s every move on the pitch.

While the ex-Barca and PSG have yet to play an MLS game – and Miami are still bottom of the table – his arrival has clearly strengthened the side, with the side not losing once on their way to Leagues Cup glory.

A similar concept to the ‘Star Cam’ has been applied to another MLS star before – and even a major face of Inter Miami.

The club’s co-owner David Beckham was followed with a ‘Beckham cam’ during his debut for the LA Galaxy in 2007 against Chelsea.

“I thought it was stupid,” said MLS Commissioner Don Garber ESPN in 2017. “Honestly, had we known about it, we would have come back hard on it.”

Six years later, history repeats itself: Messi plays his eighth game for Miami.
