Good Morning America host Lara Spencer reunites with ex-husband David Haffenreffer as they send their daughter off to college in Nashville

Good Morning America’s Lara Spencer recently reunited with her ex-husband for an emotional weekend.

The television host, 54, shared photos on her Instagram of her reunion with real estate agent David Haffenreffer, 56, as they dropped off their daughter Katharine, 19, at college.

The author of The Flea Market Fabulous — who is currently married to Richard McVey — previously married Haffenreffer in 2000 before they split amicably in 2015.

On Tuesday, Lara shared a photo of the former couple — who also share son Duff, 21 — enjoying a meal together in Nashville before taking their youngest child to begin her semester at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.

They were also joined by their son, Katharine’s new roommate and her parents for their farewell dinner.

The day before, Lara had shared a smiling selfie her daughter took as they drove together in a loaded van from her native New York City to Nashville.

With a clear expression of excitement on her face, Katharine grinned broadly as she snapped a photo of herself riding alongside Lara.

“College here we come,” she simply wrote in her caption.

On Wednesday, Lara shared another photo of her and her ambiguous daughter, posing together under an arch of balloons in front of a university building.

“Today is the beginning of a new chapter in your life,” she wrote in her sweet caption. “Write your story, honey.”

Lara and her ex-husband are parents of two children from their 15-year marriage.

The couple had previously married in Southampton, New York in 2000 and welcomed their eldest child, Duff, in 2002. Two years later, they had Katharine.
