Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty gets new trailer at Gamescom opening ceremony
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Freedom has received a new trailer as part of the Gamescom opening ceremony, showcasing new elements of CD Projekt RED’s dystopian future.
The upcoming expansion is scheduled for September 26 this year for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Phantom freedom state as Cyberpunk 2077‘s first full expansion and features a brand new Night City district. It is set in the cheerfully named ‘Dogtown’, Phantom freedom let players step into a sci-fi spy thriller, full of espionage and intrigue.
In a new trailer shown as part of Gamescom Opening Night Live, we get a deeper look at the in-game content for Phantom freedomincluding newly upgraded elements such as vehicular combat and an all-new skill tree for you to progress through as the upgraded mercenary, V.
Additionally, the end of the trailer provides a detailed list of all the features we can expect to see in this expansion, including things like an improved UI and a revamped police system. As a surprise announcement after the trailer, these elements will also make their way into the base game Cyberpunk 2077 completely free. You can watch the full trailer below:
