Weathergirl Sian Lloyd, 65, reveals she’s had a mystery boyfriend for the past FIVE years – after split from ex husband Jonathan Ashman in 2015
Weather girl Sian Lloyd has revealed she has a mysterious boyfriend who has been with her for five years.
The TV presenter, 65, told a new interview that their relationship is “fantastic” and that the pair are very happy together, but she doesn’t want to reveal his identity.
It comes after she split from her ex-husband, motorsport entrepreneur Jonathan Ashman, in 2015 after seven years together.
She said Bella magazine about her love: ‘We met through friends and have been together for almost five years. It’s absolutely fantastic and we’re really happy together.
“I hadn’t had a partner in four years, so in 2018 I did the TV show Our Shirley Valentine Summer with a group of people like Ingrid Tarrant, Lizzie Cundy and Annabel Giles.

“We all went to a Greek island – it was meant to look for love, but it really wasn’t. ITV pulled out all the stops for us and it was great to do this with such a fun bunch of women.
“But the thing is, I was single at the time and you have to be with the right person, so I was willing to wait for the right one. I wasn’t about to bring an old Tom, Dick or Harry.

Her divorce from Jonathan came two years after she was left devastated after being ‘not invited’ to her stepdaughter Suzanne Ashman’s wedding to Euan Blair, the son of the former prime minister.
Sian, who spent 24 years presenting weather reports on ITV, left the £2.5 million home she shared with Jonathan in Kensington, west London after the split and returned to her five-bedroom home in Wales.
In March 2015, Sian took legal action against the London property owned by Mr Ashman so that he could not sell it without her consent.
Oddly enough, the couple was also bound by a gag order, which meant they could discuss the details of their divorce with someone else.
A friend said: ‘Sian has separated from her husband and has returned to her native Wales. Even though they’ve been married for seven years, their marriage is on the rocks.
‘
Sian met Jonathan in 2007 and was thrilled when he proposed to him in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania after a whirlwind ten month romance.

The couple married in the Welsh village of Portmeirion in Gwynedd, the setting of the 1960s cult TV series The Prisoner.
A photo of Sian in a cream dress with a brown fur trim appeared after being taken at their hotel by a fellow guest.
The intimate ceremony was attended by just seven guests, including actor Stifyn Parri and opera singer Bryn Terfel.
Mrs Lloyd’s marriage came the year after she dumped her fiancé Lembit Opik, then a Liberal Democrat MP, calling him a ‘barfly’ for his love of drinking.
Within weeks, she made the humiliating discovery that he professed love for Gabriela Irimia, who was half her age and a member of the raunchy Romanian pop duo The Cheeky Girls.
When asked how he felt on the day of Mrs Lloyd’s wedding, Mr Opik said: ‘I don’t mean to be rude but Sian has spoken an awful lot about me and my relationship with Gabriela over the past fourteen months.

“I hope that now that she’s married she can really move on… she’s decided to end her relationship with me and I respect that.”
But Ms Lloyd took another blow in 2013 over Blair’s wedding. While Mr Ashman’s ex-wife was present as the bride’s mother, it was made clear that Mrs Lloyd would not be welcome at the Blairs’ £4 million Buckinghamshire mansion.
A close friend of Mrs Lloyd’s said at the time: ‘She was factually and unceremoniously uninvited.
“All she knows is that she got a wedding invitation with her name on it and she won’t be going now—and she doesn’t know why…she’s devastated.”
