Reese Witherspoon reveals surprising partnership with presenter Sophie Morgan as they join forces to ‘shine a light on the community with disabilities’
Reese Witherspoon has formed an unlikely partnership with presenter and disability activist Sophie Morgan.
Hollywood star Hello Sunshine’s media company has joined forces with the Loose Women star to form a new division called Making Space, which aims to create unscripted content centered around people with disabilities.
The division will “shed light on the lived experience of the world’s largest yet most overlooked and misrepresented community on Earth.”
Disability activist Sophie was paralyzed from the waist down at the age of 18 after a car accident.
Several projects are already in the works through the partnership and will be announced in due course.

Making Space Media is a division of Making Space and is run by Sophie and entrepreneur and activist Keely Cat-Wells.
Hello Sunshine unscripted bosses Sara Rea and Sarah Lazenby said Making Space’s mission “couldn’t be more tailored to us.”
They added: ‘We are thrilled to be working with Sophie and Keely and excited to create powerful content together that we hope will create a real legacy and impact in the world.’
Sophie and Keely also called Hello Sunshine an “inspiring mission-driven company that has changed the representation of the entertainment industry.”
Hello Sunshine has already produced a number of Reese’s popular films and shows, including Wild, The Morning Show and more recently Daisy Jones & the Six.
Last month, Sophie shared her heartbreak after her car was broken into, with thieves stealing a £4,000 wheelchair attachment.
Sophie shared a photo of her BMW’s broken rear window, saying the attachment, called a Batec, has “no value” to anyone but her.
A Batec can be connected to traditional wheelchairs to make it motorized and help disabled people travel more freely.

Shocking: Last month, Sophie shared her heartbreak after her car was broken into, with thieves stealing a £4,000 wheelchair attachment
The TV personality wrote, “My car has been broken into AGAIN. It was parked for an HOUR at my friend’s house in Camden, near Regents Park.’
“They took my WHEELCHAIR MOUNT called Batec. It’s an essential mobility aid worth £4000.”
“It was stolen along with a small black suitcase filled with personal items such as clothing, shoes, etc. which are of no value to anyone but me.”
“Please, please, if anyone saw anything, please report it to the police or DM me.”
It could be seen that the windshield of the car was completely smashed with glass shattering everyone.
In March, Sophie’s Blue Badge was stolen from her car in London while she was working in America.
The robbery couldn’t have come at a worse time for Sophie, as just a week ago she claimed that British Airways staff had broken the seizure on her £8,000 wheelchair for the second time.
While filming from the arrival, she said to the camera, ‘British Airways broke my Batec (battery operated attachment). I arrived at the airport and it worked’.
“Now I’ve reunited with it from the back of the plane and it’s not working.”
