After Hours til Dawn tour: The Weeknd announce dates for concerts in Australia and New Zealand

The Weeknd is on his way to Down Under.

The 33-year-old pop star, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, is bringing his After Hours Til Dawn World Tour to Australia in November and December.

With special guests Mike Dean and R&B singer Chxrry22, The Weeknd plays shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Concert tickets go on sale on September 1.

The tour kicks off in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on November 20, before traveling to Sydney on November 24 for a performance at Accor Stadium.

The Weeknd concludes with a final show at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on December 1.

The Grammy Award winner will also perform at a concert in New Zealand at Auckland’s Eden Park on December 7.

He last performed in Australia as part of his Starboy World Tour in 2017.

The superstar’s poster has already achieved huge success on its world tour so far.

Rolling stone reports that he recently filled the London stadium with 160,000 fans over two nights, which is a record attendance for the venue.

He also caused ticket sales in France to soar during the current tour and broke concert box office records in Nice after playing to 70,000 in Nice.

In Italy, The Weeknd stunned locals when he recently became the first artist to sell out Milan’s Ippodromo La Maura over two nights.

In Australia, the singer has had two recent hit albums with 2022’s Dawn FM and 2020’s After Hours, both albums reaching number 1 on the ARIA chart.
