The driver of the Ford150 pickup, whose name was not revealed, was circling a busy intersection at 17th Street and Northside Drive on Sunday night just before a Georgia state police officer began chasing him, leading to a frantic scene.

The video shows the gruesome scene of the out-of-control vehicle driving into several people standing in the street, others scattering as the police vehicle chases the attacker.

Shocked bystanders were overheard screaming, “Oh s**t when they saw the frantic scene play out.

A final clip shows the police car crashing into the vehicle several times before engaging in a pursuit tactic known as a PIT maneuver, which forces a fleeing vehicle to turn abruptly sideways, causing the driver to lose control and stop.

The officer then jumps onto the hood of the attacker’s car before pulling the driver out of the truck by his arm and then handcuffs him.

Many bystanders were caught on video filming the action scene while others cheered the officer.

After the officers had apprehended the suspect, the driver did not seem to resist. The New York Post reported.

It is unclear how many people were injured.
