John Stamos marks his 60th birthday with a sweet video featuring his son Billy, five, who says he’s a ‘big fan’ of his dad
John Stamos marked the big 6-0 with a sweet video featuring his five-year-old son.
The Full House star, who admitted he didn’t always enjoy working on the hit sitcom, had an interesting interview with young Billy as they celebrated the milestone on Saturday.
“Do you know how happy I am to have turned 60 and have such a wonderful son like you?” asked the Spidey And His Amazing Friends actor.
“So happy,” the little mini-me replied before introducing himself on camera.
“And my name is Billy Stamos and I’m the son of John Stamos.”

Happy: “Do you know how happy I am to have turned 60 and have such a wonderful son like you?” asked the Spidey and his Amazing Friends actor. “So happy,” the little mini-me replied
The preschooler, who is wearing a black and red Spidey T-shirt, then explains that his father – who looked comfortable in a tropical shirt – performs with the Beach Boys, and that his father plays drums and makes music and that he is ‘like’ a big fan.’
The tyke then talks to his father and tells him, “You don’t look like 60. You look like a baby.”
The flattered father asks Billy, “How old do I look?” How old do you really think I look?’
Billy candidly tells him, “Baby. And besides, you’re 60.’
The Big Shot actor then asks his son, “Do you say anything about me in your prayers?”
“Of course,” he replies matter-of-factly.
“Do you say, ‘Thank you, God, for daddy?'”
“Yes, I did,” Billy replied.
The video then cuts into a montage of happy family photos that also feature John’s wife and Billy’s mother, Caitlin McHugh, 37, with Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory’s song Pure Imagination underneath.
The clip ends with Willy Wonka star Gene Wilder telling Charlie Bucket, “Don’t forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he always wanted…he lived happily ever after.”
John wrote, ‘I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be at 60! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and love. I hope to give you back what you gave me, a wonderful life.’
Full House co-star Candace Cameron Bure sent wishes and wrote, “Happy Birthday Uncle J ❤️ Love you.”
John’s Sealed With a Kiss co-star Annabeth Gish wrote, “Happy Birthday JS. Love you more than you know. xoxoxox ❤️❤️❤️

Birthday wishes: Caitlin, 37, posted this photo to Instagram and wrote, “Can you believe this man is 60?! The only way he shows his age is in his wisdom and his extensive record of life achievements.”
Former Law and Order star Elizabeth Rohm followed up with her own “Happy Birthday, John!”
On her Instagram page, Caitlin shared a photo of the two of the post, “Can you believe this man is 60?! The only way he shows his age is in his wisdom and his extensive list of life achievements.’
She then took the opportunity to plug John’s new book.
