Olivia Dunne misses boyfriend Paul Skene’s second minor league game for the Bradenton Marauders…as gymnast returns to LSU after couple confirms romance

Olivia Dunne has returned to Louisiana State University for the start of her senior after being forced to miss her boyfriend’s second minor league game in Florida after the couple confirmed their romance earlier this month.

On Sunday, the 20-year-old shared a mirror selfie from one of LSU’s locker rooms on Instagram with the caption: ‘back @LSU’

The gymnast wore an all-black outfit made by Vuori Clothing – an athletic clothing brand based in the US – as she showed off her blonde locks wrapped in a headband.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, who pitches for the Bradenton Marauders – the Single-A affair of the Pittsburgh Pirates – got his second start on the mound for his new team since winning the College World Series in June.

He impressed fans on Sunday, throwing 28 pitches for two strikeouts and no hits in two innings against the Lakeland Flying Tigers. What’s more, the 21-year-old threw for 19 strikes.

Dunne was spotted watching Skenes make his debut for the Marauders in the stands at Bradenton’s LECOM Park last week.

And after her performance in South Florida, Skenes spoke about his relationship with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, confirming that the pair — who met when they were both at LSU — are indeed dating.

Talking to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, he said, “It sure is fun. Honestly, sometimes getting somewhere can be a pain.

“If any of us went out alone in Baton Rouge, there’s probably going to be someone asking for something — a photo, an autograph, whatever.

Dunne, who recently modeled for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, is entering her senior year at LSU

“It’s nice to be able to have that conversation. She gets it. I wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It irritates me.

‘I have no control over it. She really isn’t. I’m sure it will get better as I get higher, but that’s something I want for her.’

Dunne, who shared behind-the-scenes footage from her photo shoot with Sports Illustrated on TikTok last week, looked happy to cheer her new beau on the ballpark during Skeenes’ minor league debut, as she put on a smile in front of fans.

Dunne shared a pre-game selfie on Instagram along with the caption, “go baseball!”, and Skenes didn’t disappoint in his first outing for the Marauders, striking out two in his one-inning performance in a 14-13 win over the Tigers.

Dunne previously said she feared for her safety on the LSU campus and will no longer be attending classes in person starting this fall.
