Michael Hing is a married man.
The project’s newest star walked down the aisle with his fiancé Humyara Mahbub at a Bangladeshi wedding on Sydney Harbor on Saturday.
The 38-year-old and his bride looked radiant in traditional dress as they exchanged vows by the water, surrounded by family and friends.
Hum wore a banarasi silk saree with beautiful cream embroidery and carried a bouquet of red and pink flowers, while the groom wore a dhoti kurta.
The pair posed for a series of photos shared on social media with Michael looking absolutely smitten as he hugged his sweetheart.

After the ceremony, the couple held their reception at a Chinese restaurant, with Michael clearly having a ball.
Michael’s friend and co-star Nikki Britton attended the nuptials and shared the good news on The Sunday Project.
“I am heavily rehydrating. It was so beautiful. I’ve never been to a Bangladeshi wedding. Look at them! It was just so full of love,” she said on the show this weekend.
“It was so full of people. It was so full of delicious Chinese food, I have an MSG hangover. Look at this beautiful bride,” she added.

Comedian Michael’s new wife is a Sydney illustrator who has been an artist for over a decade.
She is also a writer and has written the Netflix comedy series Why Are You Like This which aired in 2018.
“I’ve never worked on a project as collaborative and frustrating as making a TV show,” she shared. Liminal magazine.
“It’s insane to get mad at your friends for disagreeing or a joke is funny, but I literally had multiple emotional breakdowns over it,” Hum continued.

Michael, meanwhile, joined the line-up of Australian current affairs show The Project at the end of last year.
He left Triple J earlier this year after three years hosting the radio station’s popular drive show, Hobba and Hing with Lewis Hobba.
Michael is also the former host of the ABC programs Good Game: Pocket Edition and Good Game Well Played.
