Legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady once again joked that he’s considering making another shocking return to the game — showing off his toned abs on Instagram.

The 46-year-old is preparing to watch from the sidelines in 2023, but has already undone his retirement once and can’t rule out another stunning turnaround, with summer training camps in full swing across the country.

The iconic seven-time Super Bowl champion took to social media on Saturday and shared a shirtless photo with his 14.2 million followers, along with a caption that read, “Side effects of TB12 Sports protein (Brady’s company)… mid-August rolling around and you start thinking about a training camp to come to.’

In the blink of an eye, Brady seems to be enjoying some time in the sun, and he’s clearly still kept himself in remarkable shape, despite hanging up his cleats “for good” in February of this year.

Brady has been the subject of constant speculation about a return to the game, but he’s always remained steadfast in his belief that enough is enough.

When asked about a possible return to the NFL in June, Brady told Sports Illustrated, “I’m sure I’m not playing anymore, so I’ve tried to make that clear and I hate to keep professing that.”

“I’ve told people that many times, but I’m looking forward to my broadcasting job at Fox next year.”

This summer he dipped his toes into the world of other football, buying a stake in English second division side Birmingham City and traveling across the pond to watch their game last week.

When he retired at the beginning of the year, Brady cited a desire to spend more time with his children, with whom he no longer lives 100 percent of the time following his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Brady and Bundchen announced their divorce in October 2022, ending their 13-year marriage after weeks and months of speculation.

When Brady retired, Bundchen posted a tribute to the former quarterback, and the pair seem to have remained amicable despite their divorce.
