In Bali, a woman suddenly died in her sleep after flu-like symptoms.
Geelong’s mother, Lindy Joy Turner, was staying at the Indonesian tourist hotspot when it was announced she passed away sometime this week.
Her family has set up an online fundraiser to raise money for her funeral expenses.
“Sadly, we would like to announce the passing of Mick’s beautiful wife of 39 years, Lindy Joy Turner,” reads the GoFundMe campaign description.
‘Lindy passed away in her sleep here in Bali. The reasons are still vague, but she struggled with a massive cold and breathing difficulties.
“Her lungs were full of fluid and her body just couldn’t handle it.”

The couple had been married for 39 years before the Bali tragedy
Obviously, the money raised will go towards funeral expenses.
Mr. Turner was the “wife to Michael, mother and mother-in-law to Marlee and Mark, Shaun and Bec, and devoted nanny to Kobe and Seth,” according to the GoFundMe page.
“Thank you in advance for your love and support in helping us say goodbye to our beautiful friends.”
The campaign organizer is listed as Michael Turner, Lindy’s husband, though it appears the campaign information was written by someone else.
At the moment of writing the campaign raised nearly $11,000 of the $15,000 goal.
Ms Turner’s death is the latest in a string of Australians to have died at the Indonesian resort
It is just over a month after the death of Melbourne father Rajiv Jayarajah, who collapsed on June 30 while in Bali.
The 43-year-old suffered a seizure and underwent brain surgery, but died on July 9 of a brain hemorrhage.
Sydney man Charlie Bradley died after collapsing outside a medical clinic in Canggu early on the morning of April 17.
The family of the 28-year-old broker hopes an autopsy will shed more light on his exact cause of death.
And Perth man Troy Johnston was killed after being beaten with a barstool on February 23, allegedly at the hands of the owner of a bar where he was drinking in the southern district of Ungasan.
