Matt Rife confirms he’s dating after being linked to actress Jessica Lord… following romances with Lucy Hale and Kate Beckinsale

Matt Rife clears up any discrepancies regarding his status in the romance department.

The comedian, who is currently on his way to perform his latest stand-up show as part of his ProblemMATTic World Tour, made his relationship confession during a performance at Good morning America on Thursday.

During his interview, the three co-hosts – Amy Robach, Eva Pilgrim and Dr. Jennifer Ashton — and part of the live studio audience — to be genuinely surprised when the Columbus, Ohio native revealed he’s not single.

And while he didn’t share the name of his current love interest, a number of publications including Page sixreport that he has been in a relationship with English actress and dancer Jessica Lord, 25.

It seems like the funny man has some sort of kind, given that he’s also been romantically linked to other beautiful actresses, including Lucy Hale, 34, and Kate Beckinsale, 50.

“So you’re single? Pilgrim asked with a big, beaming smile on her face, to which Rife replied, “I’m not.”

After the disappointed grunts from fans subsided, the co-host commented, “Well, apparently the ladies really like you.”

“Sorry,” the former Wild ‘n Out star said as he looked out to the audience, who still sounded a little stunned by his revelation.

Despite his surprise revelation of the romance, Rife was still open to playing a game of Pursue Or Problematic, which is all about figuring out what kind of woman he’d like to date.

When asked if a potential date is “a homebody who never wants to leave the house?” Rife quickly shot back, “Pursue. I love that. I’m out so much I just want a night in,” he said, before adding, “That’s a perfect date night for me. Order food, watch TV, cuddle and relax.’

In another haunting or problematic question about a potential person to date, the ladies described “anyone who doesn’t want kids?”

‘Problematic. I want kids someday,” he said before the co-hosts asked if marriage was in his future.

‘I would very much like to get married. I mean, of course there are some things I have to do first. I have to finish this tour. I have to learn not to be afraid of the dark,” Rife confessed, leading to laughter from the audience, “because there are still things that come into play.”

In another Pursue Or Problematic question, the comedian called people “who take forever to respond to texts” problematic, explaining that he’s a “huge texter, especially since I travel so much.”

It seems that the comic’s love life is about as exciting as his career in comedy.

Rife and Lord have just begun their reported romance this year, which is said to be more serious than his previous fling with Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale.

Lord is best known to many fans for her roles as Lola in the fifth season of the series The Next Step (2017) and Lena Grisky in the Hulu teen drama Find Me In Paris.

Sources told Page Six that he “makes sure to spend whatever downtime he has with her — even if it’s long car rides for just a short time together.”

In another of his celebrity flings, the funny man dated Kate Beckinsale for almost 2017 to 2018, which started when she was 43 and he was 21.

Rife was open about the relationship being “definitely complicated” during the year they dated, and that there were “a lot of ups and downs.”

When Pete Davidson started hooking up with Beckinsale after Rife broke things off, he offered some advice for his fellow comedian.

‘Man to man? Walk. Enjoy it. Enjoy it while you can,” he said, as reported by News week. “I hope they’re both happy. I hope it can build to where it’s an established relationship.”

Finally, Davidson and the Serendipity actress ended their romance after about four months in 2019.
