My husband gets me pregnant every year so I don’t have to deal with my ‘miserable’ period

A mother of two has discovered the best way to deal with her “miserable” period: get pregnant every year and skip it altogether.

Chantel Schnider, from Canada, is expecting her third child with husband Aaron and made a tongue-in-cheek video about her “tactics.”

The “period prevention” clip caught the attention of thousands and many described Chantel as a “supermom” — but others were stunned.

“If he gets you pregnant every year so you don’t have your period,” she wrote in a TikTok video now seen more than 4.5 million times.

Chantel can be seen lip-synching the words “Thank you to my husband” as her husband stands beside her with their two children in each arm.

Being pregnant means she won’t get her period until after the baby is born, which she’s thankful for.

“My pregnancies are absolutely miserable, but somehow I still prefer being pregnant (than having my period),” Chantel wrote in the comments.

She also revealed that ideally they would like a large family with “10 or eight” kids.

The couple posts “day in the life” videos and shares with their 662,000 TikTok followers what it’s like to be a parent under the username The Alexander Family.

The video quickly divided opinion, with one person writing “A win is a win” while another said “This is my idea of hell.”

Other moms resonated with Chantel’s experience of getting pregnant quickly after giving birth and not getting a period for a long time.

“Girl same, I had three in three years,” one woman commented, another said, “Same thing — took a break in 2022, though.”

“Not to mention it’s so nice that all the kids are about the same level for toys so you don’t waste hundreds,” said another.

Others, however, “couldn’t imagine” being pregnant “constantly,” even if it means not having to go through a period every month.

“Ummm… even if it’s a joke, it’s not really funny, tbh,” one commented.

“I couldn’t do this to myself,” admitted another.

‘How? My pregnancy has been hell,” said a third.
