According to reports in Germany, David de Gea’s proposed move to Bayern Munich has fallen through.
Goalkeeper De Gea is a free agent after leaving Manchester United this summer.
While the Spaniard performed well overall last season, he made a number of high-profile mistakes and manager Erik ten Hag declined a contract offer, allowing the stopper to leave for free when his contract expired.

Neuer, 37, is returning from a long-term injury after breaking his leg in a freak skiing accident.

Plettenberg claims that with Neuer returning in a few weeks, Bayern will be happy with Ulreich until the veteran returns to action.
It was also reported that De Gea’s wage demands were too high for Bayern, who lost first-choice keeper Yann Sommer to Inter Milan last season. Sommer replaced Andre Onana, signed to succeed De Gea as United’s No 1 by Ten Hag.
