Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Christopher shows off his incredible weight loss and new hairstyle in rare sighting after a workout in Los Angeles
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s youngest son, Christopher Schwarzenegger, revealed the results of his impressive body transformation during a trip to a Los Angeles gym on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old celebrity son – the youngest of Schwarzenegger’s children with ex-wife Maria Shriver – covered up his slimmed figure in casual workout clothes when he was seen climbing into an SUV after his workout.
His latest sighting shows the impressive results of the weight loss journey he started in 2020.
While Christopher worked on his physique, his former pro bodybuilder dad was also spotted elsewhere in Los Angeles on Tuesday as he headed to lunch.
Christopher showed off her muscular arms thanks to a white ’40 Love’ T-shirt.
Looks good! Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Christopher Schwarzenegger, 25, revealed the results of his impressive body transformation during a trip to a Los Angeles gym on Tuesday. He has been on a weight loss journey since 2020
Athletic style: Christopher showed off his big biceps in a white tee with navy sweatpants and white-and-blue New Balance sneakers
Christopher kept his look understated with a set of navy track pants, and he rocked now-popular white New Balance sneakers with royal blue accents.
He appeared to have an accessory with a gold chain dangling around his neck, and he saw a smartwatch fit on his wrist.
In recent years, Christopher tended to wear his hair in shaggy lengths, sometimes swept it to the side or even tying it into a ponytail when it got particularly long.
As of Tuesday, he had revitalized his look with a cool mullet. He had a few modest curls and tousled locks in the front and hair down his neck that reached to the collar of his shirt, but the sides of his head were buzzing.
Christopher also looked effortlessly cool with a shaggy beard, which he’s been sporting for years, even before the onset of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and his weight loss journey.
He tends to maintain the lowest profile of the members of the Schwarzenegger-Shriver family, and he is rarely glimpsed in public compared to his sibling: Katherine, 33; Cristina, 32; and Patrick, 29, as well as his half-brother Joseph Baena, 25, who shares his father with Mildred Baena, the family’s former domestic servant.
The action superstar had an affair with Mildred while married to Maria, though his youngest son’s identity was not revealed until 2010, marking the end of his marriage.
Joseph seems to be pursuing his father’s passion for fitness and bodybuilding, but Christopher has recently focused on his health as well.
Working on himself: According to HollywoodLife, he started focusing on losing weight and getting healthier before graduating from the University of Michigan in 2020; seen in 2019
Family: He is not the only Schwarzenegger kid who focuses on fitness as his brother Patrick often trains with their father
Family: Christopher’s mother Maria Shriver (top center) divorced his father after his affair with their housekeeper Mildred Baena and their son Joseph Baena came to light in 2010, but they still maintain friendly relations when they are around the children are
Life father, like son: Joseph has focused more on replicating their father’s fitness achievements than any of his other children
Bodybuilding star: Christopher’s father Arnold Schwarzenegger rose to fame as a bodybuilder before becoming an A-list actor. He is a seven-time Mr. Olympia winner and one-time runner-up
On the Road: While Christopher was working out, Arnold was spotted heading to lunch somewhere else in LA
In 2020, a source said Hollywood Life that Christopher had made it his goal to “get healthy before graduating” from the University of Michigan, a desire he “held on to.”
“He started exercising and making better food choices. He was in school for a few years and lived like a typical student, but he’s growing up now and ready to take better care of himself,” they claimed.
Instead of the “fad” and “crash diets” that many celebrities turn to when they want to lose weight, Arnold’s son has instead focused on reducing his junk food intake and significantly increasing his exercise regimen.
While he reportedly made significant changes to his diet and exercise, it’s unclear if he turned to weight-loss drugs like Ozempic for additional help. The drugs are intended for diabetics, but are prescribed off-label to help users lose significant amounts of weight.
