Iman wishes daughter Lexi Jones a happy 23rd birthday with a sweet video that includes David Bowie singing Little Wonder

Iman wished her youngest daughter a very happy birthday on Tuesday.

“Happy Birthday, Little Wonder,” the supermodel wrote alongside a montage of photos of her daughter, Lexi Jones, 23, accompanied by her late husband David Bowie’s song Little Wonder who passed away in 2016.

God blessed us with the greatest gift: You! Have the most glorious birthday,” she added.

The fast-moving video featured photos of Lexi, born Alexandria Zahra Jones, through the years.

The proud mom also included snaps of Lexi’s art.

Lexi seems to have inherited her talent from her father, who once studied at the Bromley School of Art in London.

One of his artistic mentors was Owen Frampton, the father of Bowie’s fellow rock star Peter Frampton, 73, according to Forbes.

Bowie died after a long battle with cancer in January 2016 in NYC.

On her websiteLexi explained, “Art has been a rock in my life for as long as I can remember.”

‘As a child I was always scribbling or painting during art class and in my spare time.’

“It wasn’t until my mid-teens that I got serious and started refining my style,” she continued.

“That’s when I developed a deeper passion and knew I wanted to create and share my pieces with the intent of encouraging others to create their own.”

The mental health advocate described her intent to write, “My first collection, Pieces of Me, is about coming together to heal through the beauty of art.”

Talents: Lexi is a talented artist and has also experimented with singing and songwriting. On her website she wrote: ‘Art has been a rock in my life for as long as I can remember’

A look at Lexi’s social media indicates that she has also inherited her father’s musical skills and is also a talented singer and songwriter.

A video of her singing Starman and Life on Mars, taken from a live social media event, has been viewed nearly 200,000 times on YouTube.

Iman told People in 2021 that she didn’t focus on body image while Lexi was growing up.

“Never – no matter how I felt about myself – said, ‘Oh, I’ve gained weight’ in front of her.”

As a result, the CARE Global Advocate said her daughter “doesn’t think about weight as an issue,” and instead advised her mother to buy bigger pants when she complained about gaining eight pounds during the pandemic.

Lexi has two older siblings, BAFTA award winner Duncan Jones, 52, and Iman Cosmetics executive Zulekha Haywood, 45, from her parents’ previous marriages.
