Aussies reveal their best and worst celebrity encounters – while revealing the rudest offender
Australians have revealed their wildest celebrity encounters, revealing which local stars are really nice and which are less than pretty.
In a series of Reddit posts, hundreds of Aussies shared stories of their celebrity encounters, both good and bad.
From building a swimming pool for a sports legend to being snubbed by Australia’s sweetheart, you’ll be shocked by some of the stories told.
Some of the more polite interactions people had were Hollywood legends Hugh Jackman and Margot Robbie.
One person claimed that they “tried to pick up Margot Robbie at a house party in Melbourne in 2008 or 2009,” and while unsuccessful, “she seemed like a nice girl.”

Another said they met Wolverine star Hugh, 54, when he was filming the movie Australia in Bowen, Queensland.
“He came to our group of star-struck locals walking around the Santa Barbara Parade and very politely thanked us for letting them film in our town and making them feel so welcome,” they wrote.
They went on to say they were “impressed” with Hugh’s manners, adding that he appeared to be a “polite and humble fellow.”

Other local stars who knew it all included Jessica Mauboy, who was “super nice” to her fans, as well as the late great cricketer Shane Warne, who was called “one of the nicest guys” a pool builder could work for.
Meanwhile, The Block host Scott Cam was labeled “arrogant” after an alleged traffic incident involving a Redditor.
My buddy yelled, “Happy riding, Scotty!” He replied, “Go and get fucked!” Ruins his day just a little bit more. Just thought it would be funny,” they claimed.
Delta Goodrem also made the naughty list when a hospitality worker claimed she was “such a diva” to the staff and that her ex-boyfriend Brian McFadden was “embarrassed” for her behavior.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Delta and Scott for comment.
