Jennifer Lopez goes bareheaded as she shares her skincare routine in filterless video as she shares she feels ‘better than ever’ at age 54

Jennifer Lopez went ‘barefaced’ as she shared her skincare routine with her more than 250 million Instagram followers on Monday.

A month after turning 54, the superstar shared a video in which she rejoiced over her recent birthday while stating that she feels “better than ever.”

In the images, in which she wore a beige bathrobe and no make-up, the On The Floor singer showed how she uses her skin care line ‘every day’.

The mother-of-two, who is married to actor Ben Affleck, then refuted rumors that she doesn’t use her own products when she showed off her bathroom counter full of JLo Beauty products.

“I’ll scare the hell out of you right now,” she told her haters directly, before applying a moisturizing serum and sunscreen from her company to her face.

The two-time Grammy nominee concluded the recording by reiterating that she had not used any filters or “retouching” on the video.

“#ThisIsMeNow at age 54 glowing and happy @JLoBeauty,” she captioned the post.

Lopez previously revealed the secrets behind her incredible skin Fashion magazine.

Jennifer started the video by lighting a candle, called Santal 26, which she says she likes to do to set the stage.

She revealed that she takes this particular candle scent on the road and in hotels and calls it a “signature scent” for her.

Jennifer then said affirmatively, “I am always in perfect health. My family is always in perfect health. I am youthful and timeless at any age. My life is full of abundance, joy and love.’

The Hustlers actresses started with cleanser and chose her own JLo Beauty Cleanser called Hit Single.

“I’ve always had a very simple skincare routine and JLo Beauty was very much about that. I was always some kind of cleanser, a little bit of cream, sunscreen, very basic.’

Adding, “I know there used to be a lot of rumors about me loving all those expensive cleansers and having to soak myself in La Mer and things like that — that really wasn’t true,” Jennifer said.

Then she used eye drops to make her eyes clear: “I feel like this is the first thing everyone sees.”

She then used the JLo Glow Serum all over her face and neck and décolletage.

“When I was young, my mom and my grandmother and aunts all had these crazy beauty secrets. One was olive oil that we actually use, and we made the Olive Complex for this product, adding that there were other “crazy” ones, including mayonnaise in the hair, which she never did.

Jennifer said sleep is one of her biggest secrets.

“But one of my tricks for when I can’t get enough sleep is that there’s a certain number of hours I feel like you can sleep before your face falls asleep.” And so it’s either under 4 or over 7, that’s my rule,” she said.

Her next steps were a moisturizer – specifically her day cream. She used her day cream from the JLo brand, which also has sunscreen.

Jennifer wears sunscreen every day.

She added La Mer lip balm, then JLo Beauty eye cream, which she applied under her eyes, on her forehead, décolleté and her hands.

Jennifer then did her makeup, starting with concealer under the eyes, next to her nose, around her lips and her forehead.

She dabbled in makeup while saying she learned how to do makeup with Elite Model Management.

She saw them at the mall and they told her she could be a model, which she said in the video was impossible because she was 5’5.

They showed her how to do makeup during the meeting.

She worked with Kevyn Aucoin and revealed that this was her first makeup artist; he died in May 2002.

She mixed different dark shades for contouring around her chin, cheeks and forehead; she also did the neck.

Jennifer revealed that her lip trick was something she saw on Tik Tok or Instagram Reels.

She used a Makeup Forever lip liner and added Fenty Beauty Lip Gloss.

Jennifer used the Anastasia by Beverly Hills eyebrow pencil to even out her brows.

“That’s J. Lo’s dewy look,” and she added Makeup Forever powder to set her makeup and mascara on her lashes.

She said she will show her five-minute version one day when she comes out with her makeup line.

She has a serum and body cream from her brand JLo that she used on her body, and ended the video with a confirmation.
