The Block host Scott Cam has made a startling admission about what he gets up to on set when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Speak against women’s Day magazine on Monday, the construction expert admitted that he enjoys stealing supplies from the show’s construction sites — and has done so in secret for years.

“I used to score a lot of things. I’m a bit of a hoarder when it comes to building materials,” the 60-year-old tradie admitted.

Scott said he keeps these supplies, including furniture and appliances, in a shed on his property, revealing that his children often loot his three supplies to furnish their own homes.

And it seems Scott hasn’t changed his ways, as he also admitted to stealing something “unique” from The Block’s new set on Charming Street in Melbourne’s Hampton East.

It comes after viewers of The Block became furious following Sunday night’s cheating scandal.

During the episode, teammates Steph and Gian were charged with cheating after recruiting Steph’s father Nick to help on the scene.

Nick, a licensed builder who came over from the highway, was measured and cut on the spot with no introduction or payment.

“And dad comes to the rescue, no wonder Gian and Steph are struggling, they don’t have to grow up yet,” one fan wrote.

“Steph serves up major nepo baby energy,” wrote another.

“I think Steph was about to collapse. Dad may have been called in to save her well-being/marriage… but he shouldn’t be working without an induction process,” someone else added.

The Block continues on Channel Nine on Monday at 7.30pm
