Sutton Stracke is skeptical that Erika Jayne has lost weight due to the TRANSITION: ‘I still don’t look like it, but okay’

Erika Jayne recently attributed her noticeable weight loss to menopause, but Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke seems to have her doubts.

“I’m through menopause, but I still don’t look like this, but okay,” Sutton said Us weekly.

Despite her skepticism, Sutton, 51, still had high praise for Erika’s slim figure.

“Well, good lord… I have to do what she does,” she added of her co-star, age 52.

Describing what viewers can expect from Erika in the upcoming 13th season, Sutton said fans will see a “softer side” to the XXPEN$IVE singer.

“I think things have calmed down in her life,” Sutton said of Erika, who recently had a legal battle related to her ex-husband Tom Girardi.

“It’s nice to see this person. She’s more like the person I first met.’

It doesn’t come long after Erika revealed how menopause caused her to lose weight during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

The 52-year-old reality star looked slimmed down as she appeared on the Bravo talk show in a black tank top, matching pants and high boots.

“Looks like a whisper of himself,” said host Andy, 55, as he introduced The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills cast member.

Andy later told Erika that she looked great and asked about her weight loss.

“Yes, I lost weight,” Erika said.

‘Here’s something. Let me start by saying, you know, I want to make sure I don’t trigger anyone because we’re having this conversation in Beverly Hills and we have a cast member with an eating disorder,” Erika said referring to Crystal Kung Minkoff, 40, who openly battle with bulimia nervosa and body dysmorphia.

“But yes, I did lose weight and I did it hormonally,” said Erika.

“Not Ozempic ally?,” Andy asked referring to the drug Ozempic used for weight loss.

“I was in menopause,” Erika said. “So I wrote it all down.”

“Who loses weight in menopause?” said fellow guest comedian Jackie Hoffman, 62.

“Me, I went to the doctor and I said get it off. Me,” Erika said.

The US National Institute on Aging in the explanation of menopause notes that it affects each woman uniquely.

“The body begins to use energy differently, fat cells change, and women can gain weight more easily,” the NIA says on its website.

Erika was on the Bravo talk show to promote her upcoming Las Vegas residency “Bet It All On Blonde,” which begins Aug. 25 at the House Of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

The 90-minute weekend shows feature old songs, new music and “smart” covers, Erika said.

Erika said she was adding additional shows for the BravoCon weekend in Las Vegas in early November.

The reality star admitted to being nervous about the residency which begins in three weeks.

“Yes, I am (nervous) and I should be. It’s a lot of work, it’s a great opportunity and a good show,” said Erika.

Ozempic is a hot topic in Hollywood with stars admitting to taking the diabetes drug for weight loss or flatly denying it.

Semaglutide is sold under the brand names Ozempic and Rybelsus as an antidiabetic drug used to treat type 2 diabetes and under the brand name Wegovy as an anti-obesity drug for long-term weight management.

The drugs act like a hormone in the brain that causes people to feel less hungry and slow down the clearing of food from the stomach, promoting weight loss.

Erika’s castmate on RHOBH Kyle Richards, 54, slammed online speculation in February that she was secretly taking Ozempic to lose weight.

Speaking to DailyMail.com about the ongoing rumors of her weight loss, Kyle admitted that she was frustrated to see her hard work being dismissed as a “cheat drug.”

“When people try to blame my appearance on surgery or Ozempic, which would be completely irresponsible to use if diabetics can’t get their hands on it, it’s really frustrating to me,” explains Kyle.

‘It bothers me. I’d rather just inspire people with what I do, so they can try the same things I’ve done and see what happens to them.”

Kyle also denied using Ozempic in January during an appearance on Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge’s show Two Ts In A Pod.

“Many people think I used Ozempic. Just to clarify I never took Ozempic,” Kyle said referring to the diabetes drug.

Kyle also noted at the time that she was also not on Mounjaro, a similar diabetes drug used for weight loss, or “one of the injections” like Wegovy or Saxenda.
