Everyone hated the outfit I wore to my friend’s wedding, saying it was inappropriate – but I loved it (even if it violated the dress code)
- Woman slammed her outfit in front of wedding guests
- She loved it, but people claimed it was mismatched
A young woman has been viciously labeled an “attention-seeking brat” after wearing what many called a “tasteless” outfit on her boyfriend’s wedding day.
The woman paired a floor-length fluffy tulle skirt with a metallic handkerchief top and bragged to TikTok about “breaking the dress code rules” in a video showing herself mixing with more traditionally dressed guests.
In the now-viral video, the tall brunette beauty proudly strutted around with her friends, flaunting the divisive skirt and top combination.
“Rate our outfits for wedding guests,” she captioned the video.
Anastasia and her friends then walked together, with the tall brunette often blocking the others from the camera, as they modeled their looks on the wedding day.
But most of the reviews seemed to fall well below Anastasia’s own take on her quirky outfit.
“It gives ‘I like dressing up,'” said one woman.
The women lined up with their outfits and asked people to criticize them
While another cheekily added, “The skirt and top combo is terrible. the top alone is great, the skirt alone is great. Terrible together.’
“Looks like a fit laundry day,” added another.
Some took it a step further, claiming that the outfit was designed to grab the attention of everyone else on the day.
‘At a wedding? Where’s the respect,” one person asked.
“She looks like she thinks she’s the bride,” said another.
“I feel like wearing sequins or glitter to a wedding is very ‘look at me,'” said another.
Others said the “attitude” was the worst part of the video.
“Why was it so hard for her to make room for everyone?”
Some people sided with the wedding guest.
People raved about this woman’s outfit — and most called it tacky, mismatched, or attention-seeking
“I really like the combination – she looks so cool,” said one woman.
“You look great – ignore the fashion illiterates,” said another.
Most people agreed that the woman in the yellow dress was best dressed, followed by the guest in pink.
Days after the first videos were dropped, UK-based TikToker posted another.
“Everyone hated the outfit, but what about the hair and makeup,” she asked boldly.
“It ages you,” said one woman—her comment echoed by dozens of others.
