The singer recently released a new single, Mermaids, on April 21, after the song was originally cut from the Dance Fever album.
However, the singer confirmed that it was an addition to the ‘Dance Fever Universe’.
She had teased the song by posing topless while lying in a bathtub dressed as a mermaid at the beginning of the month.
The London-born singer shared a snippet of her new music as she relaxed with her head thrown back and her tail swaying gently.
She has previously alluded to the importance of her childhood mermaid dreams appearing in her music.
She said, “I kind of had fantasies about Atlantis and about mermaids, and the idea that under water, that’s where everything has to be.
“I was a slightly awkward kid, so being underwater was being graceful and being immersed in something that wasn’t good or bad. It just takes you a little bit under, away from something.”
