Anna-Marie Campisi took to Instagram earlier this week to proudly show off the results of the gastric sleeve surgery she underwent in April.

The 40-year-old stood with her hands on her hips and showed off her new physique in a gray polka dot dress as she beamed at the camera.

She revealed she lost 65 pounds and praised it as “the best decision,” despite the process being “mentally tough.”

In the caption, the star wrote, “I’ve lost 65 pounds! This month was slower, but that’s okay. It won’t always go fast!’

She further shared some insight into her decision to have the surgery, explaining that she reached a breaking point when she realized that she would not be able to keep up with her young son Gokhan if he learned to walk or crawl.

“Looking back at this photo from the day I had surgery gives me so many feelings! I can’t believe I let myself get this far. I knew I had to do something,” she continued.

“My body ached, I ached every time I stood for hours or had to stand to work.

“Before Gokhan could walk or crawl, I thought to myself, How can I keep up with my little man! I could not do it.

“Now I have more energy and I can finally wear clothes that I bought four years ago. I’m so glad I made the decision to have the surgery.’

Campisi concluded: ‘It wasn’t easy, it was hard and mentally tough.

Sharing the news, she took to Instagram with a series of adorable snaps alongside a caption that read, “Mursel and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our son! Gohan John. He was born on 4/11/22, 5 weeks early.

‘He’s doing great! Just a 5.3 pound 18 inch little boy.”

She added, “Our surrogate is doing great too! I was able to meet her and she is such a wonderful woman!’
