Gwyneth Paltrow Says She’s Listening To LIZZO Amid Singer’s Sexual Harassment Lawsuit β€” As Goop Star Reveals Her ‘Summer Walk Playlist’

Lizzo has come under fire in recent days after several of her former backup dancers filed a lawsuit accusing her of sexual harassment and claiming she had fat-shamed some of them.

Still, those allegations didn’t give Gwyneth Paltrow pause when she included a song by Lizzo in a newly released playlist that was shared with subscribers to her Goop newsletter.

The 50-year-old actress-turned-entrepreneur shared a “summer stroll playlist” this week featuring an older Lizzo song, 2019’s Tempo, with a guest verse and a co-writing credit from Missy Elliott.

Paltrow was grooving to the song Cuz I Love You even as the lawyers for the three backup dancers who sued Lizzo claimed that six more dancers had come to them with new accusations that fit the previous complaints.

The trio of accusers – Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez – were “completely disheartened” after Lizzo denied their claims in a statement, accusing the three dancers of having engaged in “inappropriate and unprofessional” behavior while they worked for her.

The three women responded to Lizzo’s denial in a statement to DailyMail.com from their lawyer, Ron Zambrano.

β€œLizzo has failed her own brand and disappointed her fans. Her denial of this reprehensible behavior only adds to the emotional stress of our clients,” he said. “The dismissive comments and total lack of empathy say a lot about her character and only serve to minimize the trauma she has caused to the prosecutors and other employees who have now come forward to share their own negative experiences.”

He continued, “While Lizzo notes that it was never her intention ‘to make anyone feel uncomfortable,’ that is exactly what she did to the point of demoralizing her dancers and blatantly breaking the law.”

In addition to Gwyneth’s oddly timed inclusion of a Lizzo single on her short playlist, the Royal Tenenbaums actress also selected the creator’s single Tyler, Igor’s Theme, from his 2019 Grammy-winning album Igor, as well as the 2021 song SantΓ© from the Belgian artist Stromae. Rotos by the British singer Ona Mafalda and True Love by the American duo Hovvdy.

Paltrow is known to have shared her somewhat unexpected musical influences on Goop before. She once revealed to be a big fan of the song Bad A** Strippa, the debut single by English rapper Jentina.

The song was a minor hit, reaching number 22 on the UK Singles Chart, but was a surprise favorite for Gwyneth as the song originally had no US release.

In addition to sharing the songs she’s currently grooving to, Gwyneth also gave her Goop fans a tour of her favorite things to stock her fridge earlier this month.

Lizzo’s problems seem to be mounting after the number of dancers who made accusations against her reportedly tripled.

Ron Zambrano, the attorney representing Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez, told the court Wednesday NBC news that six new dancers who claimed to have toured with Lizzo or worked on her Amazon series claimed that Lizzo had created a “sexually charged environment” and that she had failed to pay some employees.

One of the trio’s original claims is that Lizzo allegedly invited her dancers to a stop at Amsterdam’s Red Light District, where they felt uncomfortable.

Once there, the women claimed the rapper harassed them into doing things that made them uncomfortable, including “catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas.

They also claimed that Lizzo invited them to a nude cabaret bar in Paris, without informing them first that the performers would be naked.

They claim that the lack of warning before arriving at the cabaret “deprived them of the choice not to participate.”
