Super Bowl-winning former NFL cornerback Bashaud Breeland was arrested this week after he was found in possession of drugs, guns and a stolen car, police say.

Breeland was taken to Mecklenburg Jail at 2:12 a.m. Tuesday and charged with eight charges, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm.

Cited in police documents by TMZpolice estimated the drugs at an estimated $7,000.

Breeland was apprehended around 3:05 p.m. Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina, the documents said.

Police allegedly discovered that the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Breeland he was driving had been reported stolen from Florida.

Police also found two AR-15s and two AK-47s when searching the car, they said.

In the documents, police also claimed to have discovered 5.45 pounds of suspected marijuana and 62 grams of suspected mushrooms.

According to the Mecklenburg County Jail website, Breeland has only spent more than two hours in jail as he was released at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday.

A 2014 fourth-round pick, Breeland played eight years in the NFL after beginning his career with Washington.

He would later spend a single season with the Packers before joining the Chiefs where he won Super LIV vs. the 49ers.

Breeland started 11 games for Kansas City that regular season and all three games in the postseason as the team won a championship.

The defensive back spent his last NFL season with the Vikings in 2021.
