Lizzo is facing new allegations of a “sexually charged environment” from at least SIX more people who toured with her
Lawyers representing three of Lizzo’s former backup dancers who filed suit over claims of weight gain and sexual harassment at work claimed that at least six other people have since filed complaints against the singer.
Ron Zambrano, an attorney whose practice specializes in employment law and represents backup dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez, said his firm is now investigating the new complaints.
said Zambrano NBC news the allegations were made by six people who claimed to have toured with Lizzo, either as backup dancers or on the pop star’s Amazon studio show, who described the complaints as centered around an alleged “sexually charged environment” during Lizzo’s tour, and not paying employees.
It comes after dancers Davis, Williams and Rodriguez sat down for an interview with Good morning America last week in which they branded the 35-year-old pop star “fat-phobic” and shared sordid stories about their time on tour with their former employer.
Lizzo has strenuously denied the claims made by her former dancers.
Legal woes: The trio doubled down on their claims against the pop star, 35, after filing a lawsuit over an allegedly hostile work environment, weight gain and sexual harassment
“I know it’s disturbing to learn that Lizzo, a plus-size woman who preaches body positivity, is essentially fat-phobic. But I want to challenge people to understand that hurt people hurt people,” Davis said.
Rodriguez, meanwhile, spoke of the moment Lizzo allegedly threatened her after telling her she wanted to resign because she felt “unsafe” and “disrespected.”
“She actually started clenching her fists and cracking her knuckles, and she was like ‘You’re so lucky right now’ as she slowly comes over to me.”
Rodriguez then claimed that Lizzo’s best friend jumped off the couch and had to physically hold her down.
Davis also burst into tears as she described the incident when Lizzo allegedly pressured her to touch a naked performer at a sex show in Amsterdam.
“She started singing after I said ‘no’ several times,” Davis said, explaining how Lizzo started singing her name, “Ari.”
“I briefly touched the artist and withdrew my hands, and you know, everyone burst out laughing because they thought it was funny that I touched this artist.
“I’m laughing a little bit about it,” she said, her voice cracking. “Sorry, I’m a little emotional about it.
“I even remember joking about it because I just wanted to draw attention away from me.”
When the interviewer asked if she couldn’t have left sooner, Davis replied, “We’re here because we want to be good enough for Lizzo.”
The dancers also claimed that they felt like their jobs were always on the line.
Our jobs are always under threat. Personally, I’ve never had job security in all this time,” Davis said.
She and Williams were fired, while Rodriguez resigned in what she said was in response to the couple’s alleged treatment.

Accusations: “She actually started clenching her fists and cracking her knuckles, and she was like ‘You’re so lucky now'” as she works her way over to me’
In her statement about the allegations, Lizzo wrote: “The past few days have been heartbreakingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing.
“My work ethic, morals and respect have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually I choose not to respond to false accusations, but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous not to raise.
These sensational stories come from former employees who have already publicly admitted that their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.
‘As an artist, I’ve always been very passionate about what I do. I take my music and my performances seriously because at the end of the day I want to release only the best art that represents me and my fans.
With passion comes hard work and high standards. Sometimes I have to make tough decisions, but it is never my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable or feel unappreciated as an important part of the team.
“I’m not here to be seen as a victim, but I also know that I’m not the bad guy people and the media have portrayed me as over the past few days.
“I’m very open with my sexuality and expressing myself, but I can’t accept or allow people to use that openness to make me look like something I’m not.
“There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world. I know what it feels like to be shamed on a daily basis and would definitely never criticize or fire an employee for their weight.
“I am hurt, but I will not let this overshadow the good work I have done in the world. I want to thank everyone who has reached out to support me during this difficult time.”
In their Good Morning America interview, the dancers addressed Lizzo’s reaction, with Davis saying, “This post felt like a blow.”
Williams expressed disappointment that Lizzo did not give “an acknowledgment of our feelings when her brand preaches about women’s empowerment”.
“I am truly astounded at the hypocrisy of everything you stand for. You’re contradicting us right in front of our eyes,” she said.
Rodriguez added: “For the many women who – because they’re mostly women – have come forward and said they felt the same way, or shared their stories with us because they don’t want to share it publicly yet, it’s totally a kind of invalidates all our experience and trauma and pain.”

In their lawsuit, Davis, Williams and Rodriguez accused the Grammy-winning singer — as well as Big Grrrl Big Touring and dance team captain Shirlene Quigley — of creating a “sexually charged and uncomfortable” work environment.
The trio claims that during a concert tour with the artist to Amsterdam in February 2023, Lizzo invited them for a night out on the town that ended in the city’s Red Light District.
They said in their file, “Things quickly got out of hand. Lizzo began inviting cast members to take turns touching the naked performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas.”
The dancers added that Lizzo allegedly “pressured” and “goaded” Arianna into touching one of the nude performers’ breasts.
In another case, the plaintiffs allege that Lizzo invited the dancers to a club in Paris, but failed to mention that it was a nude cabaret bar. This “shocked” the dancers, who said Lizzo “deprived them of the choice not to participate,” according to the suit.
Since the lawsuit was filed, Lizzo has lost more than 120,000 followers on Instagram.
Hours after news of the lawsuit went public, Lizzo’s former creative director Quinn Whitney Wilson and dancer Courtney Hollinquest claimed they had experienced similar abuse.
