She really is the biggest loser! Michelle Bridges had to sell her home in the Southern Highlands at a $2.5 MILLION discount

Michelle Bridges has taken a beating selling her lavish five-bedroom estate in Southern Highlands, NSW, selling it for $2.5 million less than its original asking price.

The 52-year-old trainer of the biggest loser first listed the Kangaloon property for $7 million in February, but struggled to find a buyer for that price and quickly lowered it to $6.5 million.

However, she was also unable to sell the property, known as Summerside, at that price, meaning she was forced to keep reducing the amount until she sparked interest.

It also failed to find a buyer at auction in March for $4.825 million and was then entrusted to Ray White Bowral, who hoped to get between $4.6 million and $4.8 million for it.

Unfortunately, Bridges couldn’t find a buyer for that price either and ended up selling it for $4.5 million.

Bridges will still make a nice profit on the property, having originally purchased it in 2018 for $2.7 million.

The beautifully designed farmhouse is built high on a hill and has large windows with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

There is also a separate guest house complete with a loft bedroom and modern bathroom.

The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet.

Other features include an outdoor dining area and entertainment pavilion.

In 2020, Bridges pre-sold its Potts Point unit $6.4 million, after purchase for $2.9 million in 2013.

Michelle lives in rural New South Wales with her eight-year-old son, Axel.
