A former Las Vegas private school teacher has been accused of engaging in a four-year sexual relationship with one of her students.

Kaitlin Glover, 34, is accused of fornicating a 14- or 15-year-old child after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student at Mountain View Christian School between December 2017 and September 2021, where she was the director of athletics and student leadership.

The relationship reportedly began over Snapchat, where Glover is accused of sending nude photos to the student, activity that then led to sexual acts in her van once or twice a week, according to a report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The former educator also faces two charges of being a school employee in a position of authority while having sex with a student over the age of 16.

Glover was interviewed by police and instead denied all allegations, arguing that she was a mother figure and mentor to the student.

The Las Vegas Police Department claims a student came forward with the allegations in June last year and identified the teacher as Glover.

“The victim did not tell anyone about their relationship for four years because the suspect said she would kill herself if the victim left her or that she would kill herself if she told the police,” the report reads.

The former student told police she came forward after learning that Glover was allegedly dating another student.

The victim also told police that she and Glover spoke on the phone every day for four years, and in those conversations, Glover told the student about her past relationships and sexual activities and sometimes phone sex.

A representative of the school told Fox 5 that the student has graduated from the institution in 2021.

“A family member contacted the school this summer about these allegations,” the representative said in a statement.

β€œMrs. Glover does not work at the school and has not worked at the school since the family brought the allegations to the school.

β€œThe school has and will continue to work with the Metropolitan Police Department, but they have not shared their findings with the school.

Addition: ‘We wish the former student all the best and hope that the legal process and investigation will come to the truth of this matter as soon as possible.’

Glover is currently out on bail and has been ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victim.

She will attend a preliminary hearing in Las Vegas on Sept. 14.
