LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese has revealed that she has been treating herself lately due to incoming NIL deals.
Reese was part of the Lady Tigers team that destroyed Iowa to win the national title on April 2, but it was her taunt of Caitlin Clark and subsequent interviews that catapulted her to fame.
The 1.80 meter tall attacker went from a virtually unknown to a recognized figure in the sports world, especially in sports social media.

“I’ve been shopping a lot lately,” Reese said. “Bought some bags, designer bags… Luckily I just made a deal and bought a (Mercedes) Benz.”
Reese announced her partnership with Mercedes Benz Baton Rouge via Twitter on May 1, showing off her new vehicle as part of her 21st birthday celebrations.
The Maryland native has made a name for herself by being “unashamed” herself — reiterating on the podcast that her reason for doing so goes beyond individuality.
“It’s cool because I mean; first of all, you don’t really see black women doing a lot of deals, especially with a lot of these brands,” she said.
“So just to see that I can be an example to a lot of young girls who are like me and just give them a point for knowing they can do it.”
