Former Block stars Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie have been criticized by real estate professionals for showing “compromised” homes at “too high” prices on their new reality show.
The professional house fins drew criticism from the Real Estate Buyers Brokers Association (REBAA) for a number of properties auctioned on Location, Location, Location.
One of the properties is located in a potential flood zone in Queensland, while another is located on a busy main road in Melbourne, known as a major truck route.
Meanwhile, REBAA representatives have alleged that buyers were not properly informed of potential problems with the properties prior to auctions.

Jennison also claimed buyers were misinformed after receiving renovation advice on the show.
She said another Brisbane property featured on the show may not be suitable for ground floor refurbishment as there are strict height regulations in Brisbane.
Jennison said the rules and potential issues were never discussed on the show.
REBAA also criticized the show for not covering technical reports, building inspections, or how each home’s value was assessed before the auction.
Producers of Location, Location, Location, Endemol Shine Australia responded to the REBAA claims by stating that licensed buyers’ agents were part of the show’s investigative team.
Their work, the producers said, provided legal and financial controls to ensure the best process for buyers.
