Irish fighter Conor McGregor made a rude statement on Saturday about the prize fight between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul.
Paul defeated former UFC lightweight fighter Diaz by unanimous decision in a 10-round bout in Dallas.
McGregor, who has also boxed before, tweeted Sunday with a scathing review of the events of the night before.
McGregor posted an image of him from his August 2017 boxing debut — standing behind a teetering Floyd Mayweather with his hands up — and captioned the photo, “Watching that shit last night. wtf. P*** and S*** in a ring.’
Paul – who has sparred verbally with the Irishman before – seemed to shrug off any suggestion of a fight against McGregor when asked after his win.

In a post on Twitter, McGregor used vulgar language while calling the fight “nonsense.”

Instead, the 26-year-old set his sights on a $10 million rematch with Diaz in MMA, targeting a showdown with pound-for-pound great Canelo Alvarez for his next in-ring fight.
“I don’t care about that guy.” Paul said when asked to face McGregor.
“He needs to go to rehab. I want Nate in MMA. I want more professional boxers and I want Canelo.”
A rematch with Diaz in the cage is plausible. Paul signed a multi-year deal with the PFL earlier this year, combining his future career as a special attraction in the cage with a “head of fighter advocacy” role in the promotion.
“I want to turn it back in MMA,” Paul told DAZN after beating Diaz. “There is a $10 million PFL (Professional Fighting League) offer.
“Let’s turn it back in MMA – make it fair. I won one, now it’s your chance on home soil – let’s do it.’
Diaz, 38, outlined his desire to take the offer up when he said: ‘Yeah, let’s do it. I want to try and do it.
Aside from his striking experience, it is unknown if Paul has any MMA training, though he does have some wrestling experience, stemming from his days as an amateur wrestler in high school.
