Remember them? Iconic nineties duo Agro and Ranger Stacey announce they are reuniting and making a surprise comeback: ‘The band’s back together!’
Iconic 1990s duo Agro and Ranger Stacey have announced that, 26 years after going off the air, they are reuniting for a series of performances.
The couple, who starred together on the children’s TV show Agro’s Cartoon Connection from 1990 – 1997, will take part in two shows where they talk about all things 1990s and the TV show.
Ranger Stacey, whose real name is Stacey Thomson, proudly declared 7News that ‘the band is back together!’
“I’m so looking forward to being your sidekick again,” she told Agro during a joint interview.
Agro, bold as ever, hit back: “That’s because you haven’t worked in ten years!”

“I’ve been busy, thank you very much,” she replied, while Agro joked that he wasn’t busy because he was “in a sack.”
“We’re going to look back, we’re going to remember some of the great laughs we’ve had, some of the unpredictable moments from Cartoon Connection and hopefully entertain the audience,” she said.
“Being a kid in the ’90s was the best thing, right?”

“We still have a lot to offer and it’s about time I think… you just have a fountain of youth,” she told Agro.
“Puppets don’t age, not like rangers!” Agri teased.
Agro’s puppeteer is comedian and voice actor Jamie Dunn.
The Agro Up Late shows will be held at the Ipswich Civic Center and the Redland Performing Arts Center on September 22nd and 29th.
Agro’s Cartoon Connection was a popular show that aired from 1990 to 1997.
Other co-hosts who starred on the show alongside Agro included Holly Brisley and Ann-Maree Biggar.
It was canceled due to poor ratings and replaced by the hit TV show Sunrise.
