Brighton believe Moises Caicedo will stay at the club after the transfer window ends despite strong ties with their Premier League rivals, according to reports.
The midfielder has been at the center of feverish interest from clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea, and The Blues have been dogged in their bid to secure the services of the Ecuadorian.
Chelsea have turned down four bids for the midfielder, their latest thought being worth £80 million, but the Seagulls wasted no time turning down the club’s bid from Mauricio Pochettino.
The 21-year-old signed a new four-year contract with the South Coast club earlier in January during a strong Premier League showing, but it is believed the player is assured he could leave Roberto De Zerbi’s side if the right bid in.
