Marquise Brown’s 2022 arrest for speeding 200 mph in a 65-mph zone has resurfaced in recently released police footage, which shows the Arizona Cardinals star being berated by a local highway cop.

ā€œGet out of the car right now,ā€ the irate officer yelled after pulling Brown over on August 3, 2022. “You’re going 125 miles an hour.”

Wasting little time, the officer asked Brown to exit the Mercedes SUV and “turn around” before handcuffing the 5-foot-9 receiver.

“Why on earth were you going so fast?” the officer asked.

“Sorry, I was on my way to football practice, sir,” said Brown, entering his first season in Arizona after being traded from Baltimore ahead of the 2022 season.

Brown, 25, was initially taken into custody on August 3, 2022 after he was caught driving at 125 mph in a 65 mph zone in a 2020 Mercedes on a highway in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Brown remained respectful throughout the arrest, often calling the officer “sir.”

After placing Brown in the back of his patrol car, the officer asked about his football career.

“I play for the Cardinals, sir,” Brown said, an immediate response from the officer.

‘You do?’ replied the officer. “This doesn’t look good on you, dude.”

The officer remained firm with Brown, at one point telling the Florida resident to “shove your ass over here.”

He also chided Brown for driving in the car pool lane.

“You can’t be there between 6 and 9,” he said. “You can’t be there unless you’re with two people.”

“Hollywood” Brown, as he is known, pleaded guilty to a speeding charge last March. The judge ordered him to pay $473 before waiving the fine and firing the NFL star for lack of time.

Brown was heard thanking the judge and telling her, “This is the first time I’m getting into anything.”

At trial, Brown’s defense argued that he should be given the opportunity to attend a defensive driving school program to remove the offense from his criminal record, although the judge did not allow it.

The cousin of Mercurial former NFL receiver Antonio Brown, Hollywood was inconsistent in his first season at Arizona, recording 709 receiving yards on 67 receptions. For the former Oklahoma star, it was his worst yards-per-catch average (10.6) and lowest touchdown total (three) in each of his four NFL seasons.
