Piers Morgan finally had something to celebrate on Wednesday when he watched his youngest son graduate from the University of Bristol.

The GB News host – known for his constant criticism of awakened ideology – had to watch as 22-year-old Bertie Morgan earned a first-class degree in politics and international relations.

Morgan, 58, paid tribute to his son on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple following Bertie’s graduation.

In the post, he wrote: ‘Congratulations to my youngest son on obtaining a first class degree from the University of Bristol in Politics & International Relations. Great performance from a great kid who worked incredibly hard. Very proud daddy!’

Morgan is pictured with a wide grin as he poses next to his son, who wears a traditional beret and cape over a smart black suit.

In 2019, Morgan revealed that Bertie had achieved three A*s before confessing to having achieved an ABC in his own exams, praising the £13,860 per term Wellington College in Berkshire for its ‘outstanding education’.

He wrote: Congrats #3 @bertie_morgan on your 3 A*s. The apple fell in a different orchard than your father (I only have ABC)…

‘Proud of your son, well deserved reward for great work ethic. And thanks to @wellingtoncollege for providing an excellent education. #alevels2019’.

Bertie is the youngest of Morgan’s three children, all boys, with ex-wife Marion Shalloe.

He is also a parent to sons Spencer, 30, Stanley, 26, and 11-year-old daughter Elise – his only child with second wife Celia Walden.

The outspoken presenter recently launched into a blistering rant about the Women’s World Cup’s first openly trans and non-binary player, asking why they’re playing in the tournament if they don’t identify as a woman.

Canadian midfielder Quinn made history by taking the field against Nigeria on Friday and will face Australia on July 31.

The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes but was unable to help the team find a breakthrough as their campaign started frustratingly with a goalless draw.

Quinn, who was born a biological female, came out as non-binary and trans in 2020, dropped their former first name and now identifies with the pronouns she and she.

Quinn is getting used to making history after becoming the first trans and non-binary athlete to compete in the Tokyo Olympics.

“How can you be transgender and non-binary?” Morgan asked the panel on his Uncensored talk show. “You both know this is such c**p.”

He added, “She’s a biological woman playing against other biological women. If she doesn’t identify as a woman, why is she playing in the FIFA Women’s World Cup?

“They don’t qualify for the Women’s World Cup because they used to be a woman. Now they don’t want to be women so now we have to call them ’cause they’re a transgender even though they’re non-binary and they’re playing in the Women’s World Cup and we should all be like, “Well done Quinn. What a moment “.”
