Lea Michele puts on a leggy display in black shorts as she leaves for her Broadway performance of Funny Girl

Lea Michele made a leggy figure as she left for her evening performance of Funny Girl in New York City on Tuesday.

The actress, 36, looked radiant as she walked to her car as she prepared for her Broadway performance.

Dressed all in black, the former Glee star showed off her toned legs in fitted shorts, paired with a T-shirt and an oversized blazer.

Lea currently plays Fanny Brice in the musical, which follows the character through her unlikely rise to fame and her tumultuous relationship with gambler Nicky Arnstein.

She joined the cast in August 2022 and received rave reviews from critics for the musical’s first Broadway revival in 58 years.

Lea had to miss Funny Girl performances for a week in May after testing positive for COVID-19.

This is the second time the virus has affected her shows after she missed several performances in September 2022, just a month after taking over the role.

Many fans were disappointed when Funny Girl only received one Tony nomination this year, but Lea stole the show when she delivered a breathtaking performance at the event at the United Palace Theater in New York City.

The actress closed the show with Don’t Rain on My Parade from the hit musical.

At the end of the song, she received an enthusiastic response from the audience, with many giving her a standing ovation.

Lea was not eligible for a nomination this year because Beanie Feldstein, who came up with the role, left the show at the end of July 2022.

Still, Lea remained unperturbed by the missed nomination, as she explained that it is enough for her to play the part.

“You might think this is the biggest piece of bullshit I’m going to say to you all day,” the actress told The New York Times.

“But I really don’t feel like doing that right now. It’s just about being able to play this role.’

Lea’s role in Funny Girl ends in early September and she’s looking forward to spending more time with her son Ever, two.

The mother-of-one shares her son with businessman Zandy Reich, 40, who she tied the knot with in 2019 in an intimate ceremony in Northern California.

The family has been going through a rough time recently after her son was in and out of the hospital due to an unknown health issue.

Despite the hospitalizations, Lea said People in April that he was on the road to recovery.

She said, “Ever is fine. We still have a long way to go here, but he’s fine, thank God, and healthy.’
