Pharrell Williams designed a specially tailored jumpsuit for Beyoncé’s tour that celebrated “her shape and form” and was “enlightened by her “rare spirit.”

The ‘Get Lucky’ hitmaker and fashion icon, who is creative director for Louis Vuitton Menswear, has detailed the thought process behind the dazzling black bedazzled all-in-one he created for the 41- year-old singer on her ‘Renaissance’ tour.

In a video clip posted on Louis Vuitton’s Instagram page, he said, “Beyoncé is a rare spirit.

“The idea that I know her as a human being and have known her all along and our connection, it feels like I’ve known this person for many lifetimes.”

On creating the look to match her iconic hourglass curves and allowing her to move freely on stage, he explained, “The idea here was to give her something that would allow her body to set the template. Not just the shape and form, which is essentially determined by her mind. Your body is literally a spiritual shell. Keep celebrating her shape and form, but at the same time make sure she feels free.”

He continued, “Everything is designed with the intention that a real, rare, very powerful spirit should move.”

The ‘Happy’ hitmaker, 50, also created matching outfits for the ‘Cuff It’ singer and her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter and her backup dancers.
