Jennifer Hudson has not denied dating Common.
The Dream Girls star, 41, who was spotted in London in early July with her alleged beau, was asked to go on record on Monday by TMZ when she left the Il Pastaio restaurant in Beverly Hills.
“Rumors say a lot,” the Oscar winner told the reporter. “But he’s a handsome man, I’ll give you that.”
The pair were first spotted dining at Nobu in February.
The singer was last in a relationship with actress Tiffany Haddish, who said the break was not mutual.

When asked about a possible musical collaboration with the Glory artist, Jennifer seemed open to the suggestion.
“It would be great to see two Chicagoans together,” he added, “but I don’t know about that.”
J-Hud’s eponymous talk show is currently on hiatus, but Page six has reported that some big changes will be happening behind the scenes for season two.
The host has reportedly promoted her assistant, Walter Williams III, and her publicist, Lisa Kasteler, to executive producer.
Several members of the production staff have also been fired, but a spokesperson for the show claimed 95 percent of the team will be returning.
Jennifer has also wrapped work for the action adventure Breathe.
She stars opposite Mila Jovovich, Sam Worthington and Common in the thriller about a mother and daughter fighting to survive in a world where oxygen is scarce. The film is scheduled for release in 2024.
The 51-year-old Common has been preparing to hit the road on the Hip Hop 50 Live tour featuring big names like Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, The Roots and more than a dozen other artists.

Hip Hop 50: Common gears up to tour to celebrate hip hop’s 50th anniversary
The tour kicks off August 11 in the Bronx and will perform in Cleveland and Chicago before kicking off in Detroit on August 18.

In an interview with Men’s healththe vegan rapper was asked about the health future of hip-hop culture.
“I would like us to remain more open to the discussion of emotional, mental and physical health and its promotion and expression,” he explained.
“I want hip-hop culture to create spaces where people can do those things.”
“Seeing how hip-hop continues to talk about mental health and unionize would still be something powerful that I would love to see us do because we could have access to that mental health support, health and wellness support and medical support when that is needed. .’
“That would be something in the next 50 years that I would really advocate and fight for.”
