Channel 10 reporter Pippa Sheehan gives birth to a healthy boy after six tragic miscarriages
Channel 10 reporter Pippa Sheehan and her husband Jim welcomed their second son Monty on Wednesday, after six tragic miscarriages.
The journalist, 35, revealed in a statement that her ‘heart is full’ after welcoming young Monty and she was thrilled that her eldest son Alfie, three, now had a little brother to play with.
“It was definitely the best feeling. I felt so strong and empowered, and this was an incredibly restorative and precious time for us as a family,” she said.
“Alfie knew every time I was pregnant, and to be able to tell him that Monty is finally here was so wonderful and special.”
Pippa also shared a gallery of precious baby photos on Instagram on Monday and captioned it with some heartwarming words.

‘He is here. Monty (and his hair) joined us Wednesday night…he is everything we imagined and more,” she wrote.
“His birth was such a life-affirming experience and we are so grateful to our caregivers.”
In October, Pippa shared the bittersweet feeling of giving birth to her healthy son Alfie in 2020 after six miscarriages.

That reports the TV news from Queensland Courier Mail she continues to mourn her lost children as she raises her infant son Alfie.
She also revealed how a simple question often asked by strangers can make her sad.
Ms Sheehan said people often ask her and her husband, “Just the one?” when out with their son, which reminds her of the children she lost.
“It was definitely the best feeling. I felt so strong and empowered, and this was an incredibly restorative and precious time for us as a family,” said Pippa
‘It’s wonderful and we’re blessed with a beautiful baby boy; but only the one visible, yes, but I have seven babies in my heart and it’s really hard,” she said.
“They’re all loved and, yes, we just got that one, but they’re all precious.”
The Brisbane resident said the grief of losing her unborn babies never completely went away and she simply developed strategies to cope.
Ms Sheehan is now involved with a charity that supports those affected by pregnancy loss so she can help others going through a similar experience.
