Assassin’s Creed Mirage only takes about 25-30 hours to complete
Depending on your point of view, we have good or bad news: Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes about 20 hours to complete.
For some, this will be welcome news, allowing people to dive headfirst into a dive Assassin’s Creed adventure, knowing that they don’t have to spend months of their free time to get to the end.
However, this will be disappointing for others like Assassin’s Creed games have traditionally offered great value for money and provide hundreds of hours of entertainment.
According to main producer Fabian Salomon, he spoke YouTuber Julien Chièze earlier this week, next Assassin’s Creed adventure can be completed in 20 hours if players rush through it, and about 30 hours for players who take their time and complete each mission.
“As we do a lot of testing internally at Ubisoft, this is part of our process.
We really want to get as close to the players as possible, so we’ll say the latest playtimes we’ve received average around 20.23 hours ,” said Salomon, as translated by PCGN.
“That can go up to 25-30 hours for the completionists, and we’ll say those rushing the game will be around 20 hours.
“
Given previous installments such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla And Odyssey takes around 60 hours to get through the main campaign – and double that if you commit to completing all the side missions and extra collectibles too – that means mirage will be about one-fifth the length of its predecessors.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage finally sends the series back to its roots with classic moves and poses that seem straight out of the first Assassin’s Creed title.
ICYMI, rumor has it Ubisoft is rebooting Assassin’s Creed 4 black flag. According to recent reports, Ubisoft’s remake of the 2013 sea shanty smasher is still in its early stages, but the Ubisoft Singapore team is reportedly involved.
If true, it’s an interesting decision, not least because Ubisoft is also about to debut yet another brand new swashbuckling franchise, Skull and bones. Yes, the pirate adventure has recently been delayed again, but it’s still slated to release sometime in 2023-2024 – which could give Ubisoft the litmus test it needs to whet the appetite for the Black flag Restart.
